in the rain near Dean Park, when I just happened to walk by the Artemas Ward home and heard you all performing on the 27^th of September.  In fact, I quickly phoned my father who I knew would love your music and he drove on over to the event as well. 
Thank you for the wonderful patriotic music along with a whole bunch of superb Irish and bluegrass-style tunes…you all were

The performance of “In the Valley Where the Blackstone River Flows” was a great way to end the evening at the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. Thank the band members for me.” (Band performed this song March 30, 06,  written in 1918 and never recorded, for the very first time in public for this special occasion.)

Hi Sgt. Papa: Thank you for the wonderful concert at the Grafton Common. I have heard a lot of positive feedback from your show. One of my neighbors, who is also a doctor at UMass, said he was driving by and decided to stop and listen. He said he was not sure if he would like this kind of music. Well, he said he was pleasantly surprised and thrilled. He said he was unaware that the old tunes from way back were still being played, and so professionally arranged.
