"Heritage" String Band

Catch the Spirit of America’s Past!”

19th Century-Americana/ Civil War era Music from long, long, ago!

Take a step back in time with a musical performance from the 19th Century where the “Heritage” String Band will take you on a “Musical History Tour” of popular songs of the times and dance melodies of civilians and soldiers during the early, mid and late 1800’s.

The performances create an experience to hear great Americana music from our past. Band historians will share brief information on the background of each piece, enabling the audience to gain a rich perspective on this vibrant music from  long, long ago.

Musicians perform in period clothing  of the 1800’s. The band includes narrations, lead singers, rich vocal harmonies with banjos, guitars, fiddle, drums, tambourine, accordion, tin whistle, harmonica, spoons, washboard, jaws harp, and bass fiddle.

Wherever the band travels may take them, they are met with appreciation and excitement from onlookers. Organizers of events the band has played for have nothing but the highest praises for the band. (See Audience Response)

If you are looking for a band that promotes our “Culture and our Heritage,” and is out of the ordinary, then look no further than the “Heritage” String Band. We make people feel “Proud To Be American!”
